How We Started
True Home Cinema Xperience is an offshoot of a company called Can-Sat, which stands for Canadian Satellite Technologies. The company started out small, but after much success Mark had to rent a shop in West Edmonton, which was in 2003, and at the same time hired the current General Manager, Darryl Laue. One of Marks passions at the time was home entertainment, so he created a new company called True Home Cinema Xperience which is not to be confused with the major motion picture company started by George Lucas.
Just like the name says, the cinema experience is what Mark wanted to deliver to his customers. In just a matter of a couple years True Home Cinema Xperience has gone from a two staff operation to fourteen. In 2006 True Home Cinema Xperience became a member of the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA). Not too many companies are recognized by CEDIA, so for Mark this meant a lot. We only use the best products at True Home Cinema Xpereince, which is why most of our installations include products from Control4. Our sales have been so high that Control4 has named us MVP for 2007, and currently have the number one sales figures in Canada, and number two of all North America. The company is still growing, and there are more endeavors to come.
